We’re Emmanuel & Emily Lucima, parents, creative storytellers, and founders of Standing For Life.

Our journey has been marked by deep grief and deeper grace. Through health issues, unemployment, 4 miscarriages, a stillbirth, and the loss of our daughter who lived for 51 days , we’ve learned to cling to hope.

Now with our 2 daughters, we share our story so others know they’re not alone. We create intentional spaces where people can be encouraged and equipped to heal, grow at their pace, and rediscover purpose through faith, hope, and love.

51 DAYS OF HOPE

On February 1, 2016

In honour of the 51 days our daughter, Eliana, was with us we launched our first annual 51 Days of Hope.
Our goal through the 51 Days of Hope inspire hope through through creating connections, cultivating community, growing consistently, and going purposefully into the world and making a difference.
